about

Through the three decades of my career in music, I never use a fender in a live set nor in studio recordings. The only fender I owned is an acoustic which accompanied me through those years of "unplugged" gigs.

Our guitarist has turned to Classical for years and now his dormant Stratocaster from the 80's find himself wake up in my home studio. I play around with it and feel amazed by its tonal possibilities when coupled with my contemporary digital EFX chains.

I decided to turn away from the complex computer setup and record directly some sort of musical diary just with a BOSS RC-3, at the end of my effect chain, feeding to a pair of identical Lany Mini Amp for stereo Monitoring.

My original purpose was to create a collection of "Furniture Music" for my REST place at home. Here is a selection of tracks from November and December 2017 .

All tracks are recorded in one take without post-recording overdub.
Finally, I decide even NOT to "master" the WAV files from RC-3. Therefore, it seems possible for a variety of tonal experience if you feed the wav files directly into your looper and play it through a pair of Guitar / Bass amplifiers of your own choice !@!
